Why not treat yourself to some tasty gourmet fare at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art Bistro Restaurant while feasting your eyes on Carrie Goller's solo summer exhibition entitled Creatures Comfort?
The exhibition will open June 23rd and run all summer through September 30 (10am-6pm). You'll find cows, deer, bees and of course birds; all inspired by Carrie's love of nature and her Bainbridge Island upbringing. If you are a current member of Bainbridge Island Museum of Art you are invited to a special preview event Friday June 22, at 6:30pm. The artist's reception Saturday June 23, 2pm-5pm is open to the public. If you would like to attend the museum's after-party as a personal guest of Carrie, shoot us an email request with names and number of guests to firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope to see you there!
Did you know that we offer the design services of talented interior designer, Ann Power? Here is an install Ann completed for some patrons today from Carrie Goller's Native series and her bird collection. So playful and fun!
This encaustic painting, Native V, is going to some new collectors.
This is the largest oil painting I have ever tackled and it was quite a project. I really enjoyed painting large. Since I have been asked to post a project from start to finish, here it is -- Gladys, from blank canvas to final photography. Here is a link to a video of painting Gladys from start to finish: https://flipagram.com/carriegoller
