Garden Gate, Oil on Panel, 8x8" - Robin Weiss
Robin Weiss, plein air painter. The proper interpretation of plein air painting is painting outside in the open air. That could be a chilly challenge for Robin on December 13th, when he plans to stage his easel outside of the Carrie Goller Gallery during Poulsbo’s Second Saturday Art Walk from 5–8 pm. Just like the USPS, Mr. Weiss is not a weather wimp and it is fun and fascinating to watch him work. Inside, the CGG we will be showcasing small works, including those of Robin and Carrie Goller, bronze & wood sculptures by Northwest Coast artist, James Bender, and wire-wrapped crystal and semi-precious stone pendants by emerging artist Charles Goller. Take advantage of some mid-month gift shopping with unique fine art & jewelry pieces. Large or small, there’s a gift perfect for all!
It’s time to celebrate our first winter in Poulsbo, such a warm and welcoming community for our little gallery (plus a little snow, wind and ice!). With the addition of three new artists this fall, the Carrie Goller Gallery is growing, and now showcasing world class art by world class artists. Along with encaustic art by Carrie Goller, visitors will find collections by plein air painter Robin Weiss, bronze & wood sculptures by Northwest Coast artist, James Bender, and wire-wrapped crystal and semi-precious stone pendants by emerging jewelry artist Charles Goller. To celebrate we invite you to join us for our winter showcase "Small Works, Big Soul", now through December. So while you determine if you've been naughty or nice and while visions of impressionist oils, bronze works, crystals and paintings dance in your head, remember Carrie Goller Gallery has something special for everyone! Plus Santa hangs out in Lil' Norway on the weekends!
