Garden Gate, Oil on Panel, 8x8" - Robin Weiss
Robin Weiss, plein air painter. The proper interpretation of plein air painting is painting outside in the open air. That could be a chilly challenge for Robin on December 13th, when he plans to stage his easel outside of the Carrie Goller Gallery during Poulsbo’s Second Saturday Art Walk from 5–8 pm. Just like the USPS, Mr. Weiss is not a weather wimp and it is fun and fascinating to watch him work. Inside, the CGG we will be showcasing small works, including those of Robin and Carrie Goller, bronze & wood sculptures by Northwest Coast artist, James Bender, and wire-wrapped crystal and semi-precious stone pendants by emerging artist Charles Goller. Take advantage of some mid-month gift shopping with unique fine art & jewelry pieces. Large or small, there’s a gift perfect for all!
Yes! The CGG is now offering giclee prints from a selection of popular works. With an array of sizes to choose from, our gallery wrapped canvas pieces are all ready to hang, signed and numbered by the artist. It was important to me to be sure that my work could be replicated as close to original as possible. With the help of a photographer/printer, we were able to do just that and keep business local too! At this time the larger prints are preorders only. There are many smaller, framed pieces to choose from too, an ideal option for interior design studios. I invite you to come in and enjoy original works, or talk to one of our staff about special ordering. We are also offering texturizing by the artist, which adds dimension and interest.
